A TikTok user is going viral after revealing how to “always” get fresh, hot French fries at McDonald’s. The answer? All you have to do is ask.
...
...when ordering the drive-thru or checkout line, you can simply ask to have your fries made fresh.
...
...McDonald’s even has a menu designation for made-to-order food.
...
..."I work at McDonald’s, you can literally ask for anything fresh and we’ll do it,” one commenter wrote.
“Been doing this forever, make sure your cookies are fresh too,” another added.
Some users, however, were upset that customers would have to ask for fresh, hot food.
“Isn’t it crazy you have to ask for fresh food,” one user wrote.

you can get the fries “well done” if you like them dark.
Gee...that’s important. The country is falling apart but at least we can get fresh food from McDonalds.
I used the shake-maker story when teaching strategic management, but never knew about the importance of the fries.
Or you could just wear a nametag that says “Karen”. End result will be the same.
I have noticed dramatic quality differences. Sometimes the burgers are overcooked. And often the simple orders have errors. Restaurants have a hard time finding good staff, especially, I suppose, McDonalds. Last night my DCB had no onions and extra pickles.

You sound worried and preoccupied. I’m surprised you chose to interrupt your fretting and stoop so low as to write a response to this thread.
During the day and into the early evening, my local McDonald’s has nothing in the rack—everything is grabbed before it spends even a minute or two waiting.
And the fries are always fresh because they’re constantly being made and as soon as a bunch are done, out come the scoops until the next batch.
But you’re right about late at night. But I’m usually in bed by 10-11 pm (gotta get up early).
If you want really good fries, ask for them without salt.
They will cook them fresh because the fries in the “tray” are salted when they come out of the oil.

It would be easy to find the Mets the lack of news but proliferation of editorials. William Kristol would be proud.

Homemade fries in an air fryer are amazing.

Ah, I understand now. Thanks for the clarification.
“The ‘hack’ I used when coming in from nightschool to McD’s after 10 PM and I didn’t want to wait - I would LOOK to see what was up there ALREADY on the ‘warming’ trays and order it ... I could give a flip if it was ‘garden-fresh’ at that point that late at night ...”
You mean you go to a cheap fast food restaurant and want your food fast and cheap and not fresh and perfectly assembled? How...uncivilized.

Failure to read, comprehend? Or missing a “/s” (closing sarcasm tag)?
I always order without cheese, too. to me, their cheese tastes like plastic. About half the time, I have to scrape cheese off with a napkin.
Bookie-marked.
“good fast food”
You really couldn’t tell that was a joke? Damn. I’ve got to quit commenting. Jesus.
I order the double quarter with no cheese, extra onions. That way they actually have to make it fresh AND you’re not likely to get a mistake.
