I’m not defending him, but I imagine it really messes up a kid when his mother dies in a fiery crash, then having to see pictures about it over and over for years, every time he passes a news stand. That’s a lot for a 10 year old to get over -— ANY ten year old.

1. They have a National Health Service over there.
2. They have police and EMS personnel who respond to reports of suicidal people just like their US counterparts do.

And his eventual alternative to getting prompt aid targeted to the problem is a histrionic, slow-motion psycho getaway drama?

Don’t know if she knew he was drunk, but she certainly knew he was racing at very high speed from the media. And she obviously knew she wasn’t wearing her seat belt. At three times the legal limit, maybe she knew the driver was drunk. Only one survivor of the crash so it is hard to be certain.
He was thirteen. He is now almost forty. He has been in and and out of therapy, not to mention drugs and alcohol. He still blames everyone for his problems. When you have a problem you grab hold of it and own it. You master it.
Otherwise you go through life willy-nilly, never facing and conquering your problems.

An adult would reason Harry’s mother died due to the poor driving of the chauffeur and her own decision not to use a seatbelt. A man child, completely indoctrinated with leftist prattle, blames his mother’s death on societal racial bias and the collective behaviors of people who were not present the day of the event. The concept of personal responsibility in adulthood is missing in the brain of most leftists.
