Don’t know if she knew he was drunk, but she certainly knew he was racing at very high speed from the media. And she obviously knew she wasn’t wearing her seat belt. At three times the legal limit, maybe she knew the driver was drunk. Only one survivor of the crash so it is hard to be certain.
Her bodyguard failed to protect her. Even if he didn’t notice the driver was drunk, he should have instructed him to drive slower and safer and put a gun to his bleepin’ head if he didn’t obey orders immediately.
We’ve not heard of other drivers going nuts with any royal in the vehicle. I’ve suspected it was Dodi who egged the driver on to speed.
