This is not ‘rocket science’. We the people are government..two citizen parents are required to birth their child on American soil.. The founders gave NOBODY else that power.. but since the Garden Party established, the devil is in the details!

We have had two recent opportunities to take this to SCOTUS: Obama and Harris. SCOTUS does not want it, and the GOP lacks the spherical orbs to fight it.

I am not a natural born citizen.. back when a passing grade on the US Constitution was required in school I learned what ‘natural born’ US citizenship meant. My two US citizens birthed me on German soil. No US state can claim me.... my ‘birth certificate’ says I was born in Germany and I was accepted entrance by the Secretary of State. Only the devious lawless pretend that some ‘government’ body has a say.

Is allegiance to country something that's freely given or is it locked in at birth?
If it's determined at birth why do we ask people to pledge their allegiance?
Were they military ?
The Federal Constitution covered all 13 states and future states. Remember, it was about 10 years before the Bill of Rights was added.
Go to the Avalon Project to reach each State Constitution. Very informative as many of the Bill of Rights objects were included in those Constitutions.

My father was. He left Korea and they made their way to Germany. There is no US state in Germany.
Allegiance has nothing to do with birth, traitors are born here every day just look at congress.
I cannot recall if the letter that John Jay wrote to Bernardo del Campo, dated Madrid 3 Nov. 1781, came up for discussion way back when Cruz was running. It addresses a birth circumstance quite like Cruz’s, and how a Mr. Vaughan asked Jay to let him take an oath of Allegiance before him, as Vaughan desired to become a American Citizen.
Vaughan was born in England, his father was English, his mother American. (Similar to Cruz)
We see here, in this letter, that in 1781 such a circumstance of birth did NOT produce a Natural Born Citizen.
We all know that John Jay wrote that letter to Geo. Washington, and straightaway the “Natural Born Citizen” requirement was introduced into the draft of the Constitution.
So, here is one letter, written by Jay, which shows that in 1781 a child born outside of the US,to an American mother, who is married to a non-citizen - is most definitely NOT a US citizen.

Juan mcLame was born onboard ship in Panama but papa was an Admiral (I think) and was birthed on American soil
