As the Biden administration promises to confront structural racism and inequality, a growing number of Democratic lawmakers have given their support to H.R. 40, a decades-old bill first introduced by Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., in 1989. The bill would create a commission to study slavery and discrimination in the United States and
potential reparations proposals for restitution.

F**k that.
More wonderfullness from our Glorious Leader,
They should come from the DNC.
I’d prefer cw2 over this sh*t
We already have it. Black farmers can renig on loans, while white farmers can’t. Don’t pardon the pun.
No hood rat would have any idea what to do with 40 acres of land and a mule. Not a bad idea actually if we’d be off the hook for welfare and benefits.
Are they just going to print some more money, or take it directly from us? The latter will require a big price.
Find your local Indian Reservation and that is where Black folks are headed.
Over 290,000 Union soldiers, sailors, and Marines who died during the Civil War already paid the slavery reparations.
This bill would not only punish whites but by extension minorities who married whites as well. My husband is Taiwanese. 160 years ago his ancestors were living in China, where they never even saw a black person, let alone enslaved one. Yet any additional tax levied on me as a white woman inevitably hits his wallet too, all for the sin of marrying outside his race.
There is also the fact that I can prove at least 1/4 of my family tree could not have owned slaves (they immigrated to the US after slavery was abolished) far more easily than any given African American can prove s/he is descended from a slave.
Seems to me instead, the Democrat party should apologize and dismantle itself and let the rest of us prosper without pitting us against each other and trying to make one person's gain anothers loss all the time.
I know how it looks, a cruise line headed east, all aboard.
Stops at Ivory Coast: Port of Abidjan
Nigeria: Port of Lagos
Ghana: Port of Tema and Port of Takoradi
Senegal: Port of Dakar
Togo: Port of Lomé
All aboard and no coming back.

Meeting the goals of the Permanent State.
1. Spending tax money which is then targeted to their politically connected friends.
2. Maintaining an “issue”, which is never solved, because the. “issue” is then used for item 1.
Thanks.
No doubt the determination of who is eligible would be all fair and stuff. And the determiners wouldn’t have any self interest in the results. Especially when only about 5% of the current population is connected to kin folks with slave history. Seems some other countries are on the hook for a lot more than we are. (See below links) And, when do those that had family that fought to end slavery get their money?

It looks a whole lot like giving tenured faculty positions to race hustlers - meaning, it’s been here for a long time already.
nbc news is talking about it. That means that the democrat party has told the news media to prepare the way for reparations. They will slavishly do their duty and comply. We will be seeing more and more “news” segments and articles about slavery and reparations. blm will get the message too, and step up the violence in cities.
But the Holy Grail would be another shooting of someone who wasn’t a slave but looked like one. Then it will be last summer all over again, with occupations, autonomous zones, murders, looting and raping.
Puppet man will condemn Whites for being racist and tell us that reparations are necessary to right the wrong, etc, etc.
Were you expecting a nice, pleasant summer? Covid’s gone, and a new crisis is being prepared for us at this very moment.
I always thought that the “40 acres and a mule” thing was a problem. Mules are sterile.
That is what the left really hates apparently. So many seem to have a real problem with inter-racial relationships. Goes against the narrative I suppose.
