You and I were lucky. 565,000 Americans not so lucky. I got infected on a cruise ending Feb 29, 2020 when covid was not in news. Being very healthy 80 year old all I had was dry cough for 2 weeks.
The first time I had it I would compare it to a mild flu with a hangover feeling.
Last week, just tightness in chest and an annoying cough. I still worked (remotely). The complete loss of smell was the indicator that I had it. Granted, it’s never really come back 100%. Maybe 20-30% back, but I doubt I’ll ever get it back again completely.
