First pregnant Egyptian mummy surprises researchers

Though it belongs to the University of Warsaw, the mummy has been on loan to the museum since 1917 where it has been on display.

See, this is the thing that bothers me about all the digging up of mummies.

If a ship, or a sub, goes down, that’s a tomb, and it to be left at the bottom of the sea, and is still property of the government.

Should not the dead of Egypt belong to, and in, Egypt?

Obviously, the ancient embalmers did not want to separate mother and child.

That would be why.

It was not uncommon to have any still born children mummified and buried with their parent.

Tut's tomb had two of his children in it.
