Rudy Giuliani responds to FBI search warrant raid and goes on the offensive

He is right. This is a test of the Department of Justice and FBI, which have been corrupted to the point where our democracy is in deep peril.

The highly publicized early morning raid on the apartment and office of Rudy Giuliani, the personal lawyer of the 45th President of the United States, was an outrage. Thanks to a 10+ minute interview last night on Tucker Carlson Tonight, the nation’s highest-rated cable news program, we have a better grasp of the dimensions of the scandalous behavior of the Department of Justice.

SNIP

Here are some major issues that he highlighted:

The 7 FBI agents (whose behavior he said was highly professional and polite) who conducted the raid did not follow the terms of the warrant, which required all electronic devices to be taken in. Specifically, once Giuliani pointed out hard drives from Hunter Biden’s laptop, abandoned at a Wilmington computer repair shop, the agents declined to take them into custody. He stated that to his knowledge, the hard drives contained evidence of violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), the purported crime that he is being investigated for. They also contain evidence of other crimes, including Hunter Biden’s felonious lie on a gun-related application in which he stated that he was not a drug addict, including a picture of him smoking crack within days of the application.

As far FARA itself, Rudy adamantly stated that he did not represent foreign individuals or officials. He stated that the materials seized will prove his innocence.

He stated that the warrant itself was illegal, that he had offered voluntary cooperation, so no warrant was required, and that previously -- during his representation of the President during an impeachment trial – his iCloud account, containing the same information

When votes no longer matter... bullets are the next step...

The only question is how long is the moment in between those two things..

We are living in that moment now

“7 polite NAZI pig thugs who should be unemployed like most DOJ, IRS and BLM people.”

Those “pig thugs” didn’t draw up the warrant.

Trump’s hiring was his Achilles heel! He was TERRIBLE!!

Absolutely the very worst judge of character when it came to hiring. I've been saying this almost from the get-go to him taking office but all I got for my troubles was being labeled a Trump hater, or a never-Trumper or worst, a liberal. Oh Lord save me from the clueless fools and idiots. Trump is a great man but he can't hardly hire anyone with any integrity for sh*t.

True, but the warrant specified all electronic devices. And how could they rely on Rudy’s word on what was on the drives?

This was clearly a fishing expedition. It is no coincidence that this raid took place in the middle of the ongoing ballot audit in Maricopa County. Rudy was the point of the spear on the election fraud investigation in all of the disputed states.

The most shocking revelation of all is that the DOJ breached Rudy’s cloud info during the first impeachment trial. So much for attorney-client confidentiality. DOJ has gone rogue. It is a threat to the Republic. It is only going to get worse.

Trump is an outsider. He had to depend on the GOP for recommendations to fill the 4,000 plus Presidential appointees on the Plum list.

If they didn’t follow the warrant, they were not professional. As for the rake’s hard drive, maybe this is an admission that the FBI already has it.

You’re absolutely right and it seems like the FBI has been like that for a long time. We, maybe I should have said I, have seen that for a long time. There was Ruby Ridge and Waco and more transgressions than anyone every considered possible. Our understanding of it kind of hit a peak when we saw how they handled their Clinton investigation compared to how they they handled the Trump Administration investigation.

It’s snowballing and there appears to be no end in sight. If I’m not mistaken, there are laws that say if you dump your head of the CIA you have to pick the 2nd in command to replace him. So Trump was kind of boxed in when he appointed Wray to succeed Comey.

For the umpteenth time. Trump had a very narrow choice of people to be place in positions needing confirmation by the senate. You ire should be focused at McTurtle.

He was a great mayor, at least that’s my opinion from afar, and he may have been a brilliant lawyer, and maybe he still is, but when I hear him talk I cringe and wonder why he was ever Trump’s lawyer. Loyalty? Or am I judging a book by it’s inability to speak with any apparent cogency?

I’ve never understood why anyone would want to store things on “the cloud” which is simply someone else’s hard drive.

I refuse to use the cloud services. I think Microsoft may have my Outlook shut down because I won’t enable their “One Drive”.
