Ted Nugent has revealed that he feared for his life during his recent battle with COVID-19.
"Five or six days ago, it was really bad. I didn't think I was gonna make it," the guitarist declared during a live webcast tonight. "I literally couldn't function for about 20 hours... I've never been so scared in all my life."
He described his symptoms as a "six-foot-two, 225-pound headache, like nothing I have ever experienced. I mean, from the tip of my toes to the top of my hair I literally was dizzy and weak and struggled to get up to go to the bathroom."
Nugent then explained that a group of doctors came to his aid, with one even paying for a private plane to take him to a hospital. "They came from around the world, they go, 'Uncle Ted we got the stuff, Uncle Ted don't worry we got you covered, Uncle Ted we're sending a plane and we're taking you to the UT medical center and we got ya, man!' I could literally cry, it was so powerful."
The "Cat Scratch Fever" singer revealed he's now feeling much better. "It's like I'm the fastest hot rod at the drag strip, where all my horsepower and all my torque and my oxygen levels and all my vital signs, that I monitor throughout the day, are all perfecto."

This virus is insanity. Leave it to China to think it’s a good idea, and the lunatics on board with them, here.
But it’s nowhere near over. Anyone expecting Trump to come in and wave a wand and reverse over 50 years of stupidity wasn’t thinking clearly.
Still, China was more on the edge than I thought, to push this virus crap instead of accepting fair trade. There does need to be a payback.

That is very true per our experience.
One of my Brothers had it, he was in the latter stages of liver failure and got it around Christmas time. Hardly bothered him. His wife had it and ended up in the hospital for 4 days. My nephew had it and got over it easily. My sister got it in the old folks home and never had any effects of it. Friends of mine had it and some had it bad, one in the ICU for 16 days, and others just lost their smell and all that but got over it.
I had it and it was like a real bad chest cold-that was on the storming of the DC Bastille day. My wife had it and she was down for 5 days.
My brother died St Pattys day.
I am sure that Ted would be interested in physicians who say that female pathology is related to dreaming of sex with demons. He probably received monoclonals and got better — you know — from real doctors not looking for YouTube 15 minutes of fame.
Remdesevir sucks and requires hospitalization. Monoclonals are outpatient. This is most certainly what he got.
I've got him beat. I've never fully functioned for 24 hours or more. And that's without ever having the virus.
Exactly. His symptoms sound like a bad cold or mild flu. He was really sick for a day. Sounds like a dude who has never been sick before. Really bizarre. But he is a weird dude.

He never had to go into labor, or give birth without any anesthesia or local. After having done that, and surviving nurses pushing down on your abdomen multiple times after delivery to make sure everything is out of your uterus, I'll take my chances with the virus, and my immune system.
I had those same symptoms, my arm ached horribly for hours, and felt like it was a dead weight, when as a kid in the 50's, I had to take the three intra-muscular Polio vaccines. Those were the worse shots I ever got in my life. I've never minded needles, because I used to have to get penicillin shots in my butt regularly because I always had ear aches until I got my tonsils out at the age of 5.
You haven't lived until you've had a pizza, and woke up in the middle of the night with terrible acid reflux and grease/stomach acid, and bile coming out of your nose, and mouth, including aspirating some of it. Fun times.
I learned after that not to add additional meat toppings to any pizza I make, and that bananas are a great neutralizer of stomach acid. Never knew that, and have been taking prescription medicine since the 90's for my G.E.R.D.
I'd had the earlier Shingles vaccine that consisted of one shot. Then I had the two-shot version. The only thing I experienced with the second shot was redness and tenderness at the injection site.
