My granddaughter is 25 and has done fine with it so far. My daughter is 46 and got a little sore. My SIL is 40 and if it bothered him he would never admit it. I hope none of the horror stories happen. My husband and I aren’t taking it so it makes me more nervous, not less, being around them now with the possible “shedding” and the fact that they think they are protected and them being protected protects us.
I will continue to keep my distance from most people, especially those I don’t know.
Sounds like your family dodged the bullet “so far”.
The other thing to watch is over time. No one knows what is in the vaccine and how it will react to each and every person over time. Lots of chances to take when getting shot up. I’ll pass.
