How blind does someone have to be to not have seen the clear direction that the democrat party has been headed in the last four years. The democrats were on a steady, but somewhat slow, march towards communism. Trump caused a panic in the democrat party. The response, particularly among the younger democrats, was a frenzied push toward their goal. To think that an elected official is blind to that is rather disturbing.

Hindenburg did not like Hitler. But Hindenburg‘s advisors talked him into appointing Hitler chancellor. “We can control Hitler,” the advisors said.
So yes, your analogy fits. Biden is in many ways an old-school politician. And he’s slipping mentally. And his advisors are telling him “We can control BLM. We can control Antifa.”
He shouldn’t say this, because it stands to get a lot worse. Plus, nothing by his done is surprising at all. If it is, then you just weren’t paying attention.

I’ll play the Devil’s Advocate here. Hindenburg lost the big one in 1918. But Biden won the big one in 2020. (Of course massive cheating was involved in 2020. So there’s that).
