Sorry for the vanity post...just wanted to let Freepers know who will be guest-hosting Jeopardy! in the coming weeks...I guess I will have to give up my favorite TV show along with most everything else. You would think they would at least throw us a bone and not have every guest host a flaming leftist! Oh well; in the coming weeks we are going to see: George Stephanopolous Robin Roberts LeVar Burton David Faber Joe Buck
In addition, THIS week's guest host is Anderson Poofer! Give me a break
I have a couple really interesting ones. Nothing like the boring, uninteresting people they’ve been trying out.
#1 - Dale Watson. Sure, he’s a musician, but he has just recently been in a movie, Yellow Rose. He’s been hosting his own “game show” Chicken S#IT Bingo for years. He is so glib, so funny, and certainly knows how to deal with the contestants. He would come from left field, and would surprise a lot of people.
#2 - Jerry Butler. From the PBS Doo Wop Shows. I don’t really know how it came about, but after the very first one, they KNEW Jerry was the one. And they made him the host from there on out. Jerry is just so elegant, such a perfect host.
I’d watch LeBron James host the show.

There’s a great show on Amazon TV, Ted Lasso. It stars Jason Sudekis as some second or third rate college football coach who gets a job coaching a Premier League UK Soccer Team. (long stories all around.)
It’s truly a feel good show. Of course the gag is the guy knows NOTHING about soccer.
But I feel like Derrick Hough could be Ted Lasso for real. I just want him to come over and coach me in house cleaning or whatever, I feel sure I will improve!

I agree. Aaron R was great. Seemed to have studied the questions and answers and could comment as the show rolled on. Did not watch Katie Colic.

How ‘bout Dennis Miller? Intellect plus a bit of dry humor would play well on Jeopardy.
I agree with you about Jeopardy.
If you haven’t seen them, I recommend “The Chase”, and “Masterminds” on Gameshow Network. Brooke Burns is a terrific hostess of both shows.
