In regards to VP Pence.
In an article Spirit of Liberty sent me back in Dec. 2020 it states this:
“Vice President Mike Pence said he welcomes efforts by lawmakers to challenge Electoral College results in the upcoming congressional joint session on Jan. 6, when the votes are formally counted, according to a statement sent by his chief of staff to reporters.”
“Vice President Chief of Staff Marc Short issued the statement on Saturday saying that Pence, who will be presiding over the Jan. 6 session as president of the senate, is open to considering planned objections by Republican House members and senators to Electoral College votes cast for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.”

I recall looking up what the Constitution and the Law/Rules said. First the day of the Electoral count is set by the Legislature and it was set for Jan. 6th. (It HAD to be that day) Then I recall to CONTEST a vote There had to be a written letter and it had to be signed by a Congress person and a Senate person.”
As you see from the article above VP Pence was willing to consider any objections as long as they were done according to the Constitution and Rules. Now I watched just about every bit of the counting and there were just a few who got up and said they objected to the count and had a letter. When Pence asked each of those if it was signed by both houses he was told NO! No Senators had signed the letters. I would like to know why. Why especially didn’t Cruz sign onto one of the letters?
I just don’t know why so many are throwing VP Pence under the bus. I have noticed this a lot with so many Freepers. They are Oh! He/She is so great etc; until he/she does something they don’t like. I just can’t be that way.
Thank you so much Spunky.
Jan 6 was the last straw with Pence, not the first; and it was fatal.
For example: Pence was responsible for Flynn's firing, his office was a source of leaks throughout their four years in office. He fought the President and refused to fire or even keep Fauci off the talk shows. Pence was so ineffective heading the COVID response, one has to wonder if he was actually trying to be. --- POTUS had to take over the calls with the governors and the coordination with the private sector for PPE/ventilator manufacturing and with the military for their distribution. No one really knows what the hell Pence accomplished as the head of the COVID task force.
And then came Jan 6 --- Pence had already thrown away the lifeline Cruz gave him by not supporting a two week delay for a fair and thorough audit in the states in question; Pence had thrown away the letters sent to him from state legislatures outlining the fraud and requesting a delay in certification in their states, and during the Congressional session on Jan 6 he threw away the pleas from Republican representatives and senators NOT to end the challenges to certification for six states.
Pence threw away not only the President but also the 75+ million who voted for him -- not once, but three times.
Jan 20 arrived and Pence made it extra clear where his loyalties have really always been. As the President, his boss, was engaged in a short farewell ceremony, Pence was arriving early at Biden's inauguration so he could get a really, really good seat.
I would prefer Pence go quietly into that good political night. But if he thinks I'm going to forget all this he is mistaken. I would prefer he not force me to fight him, but if he does, I will -- and without ceasing.
