A bit of pastry and a Diet Pepsi for a Friday morning, perfect!

Good morning and thanks, lysie.

Up a little earlier, need to get to Slaveway before the holiday crowds.

Taking advice on party building from Paul Ryan would be like taking advice on how to interact with your in-laws from Meghan Markle.

Exactly why I went to the store on Wednesday night. If I have to, I'll go early Sunday morning. LOL

Only problem with going too early is that the meat, veggies and deli haven’t been stocked yet, seems to happen around 8.

Some idiot decided that a holiday weekend, the busiest weekend on the mountain, would be a good time to close roads and resurface.

I have to go the long way around to get to the store.

Son, who has to be at work at 7, says he is going to try the usual route, hoping they haven’t started work yet.

This is true. Seems like at my local store, they stop working in those areas about 8 p.m. and don’t come back until like 8 a.m. That’s 12 hours! Looks like stores spend the overnight hours restocking the center areas of the store. That sure helped when bread and TP was in short supply-I’d run to my store first thing in the mornings to snag some!

And what crazy person would be paving on a holiday weekend? We have a tradition to knock off paving for the holiday weekend! We may not be able to pick up the barrels/cones/etc. but there’s no people in the work zone to have to slow down for.

Today’s declutter tip/quote/mindset:

Getting rid of perfectly good items may seem wasteful, but that’s not where we went wrong. It was wasteful to purchase it. Now we are just acknowledging it.

It would be wasteful now to keep it from being useful.

🚨🚨 209 Republicans sent a letter to Pelosi demanding she allow investigations into the Wuhan lab.

Dems haven't held a hearing on it.

Big Tech censored posts about it.

The media attacked people who talked about it.

There are 2 teachers in the family. They are the ones I was going to give to first. Then I know some home schooling families and Sunday school teachers that may want supplies. I just need to collect and box it all up.

When there’s so much in our homes, it can be hard to decide where to start whittling. This is an easy choice now that I have a focused purge.

God bless President Trump—Ryan deserves every word of this, and more!

What a quisling!

In a way, I would like a new party to form so we could be rid of this Deep State RINOS once and for all.

I’ve been encouraging my husband to let the kids have some of the bigger tools/farm stuff if they can use it. They would get the use of it now and we can always borrow it back if we need it. But its just taking up space in the barn/garage and he’s not using it much anymore.

I think the hard part is making up your mind that you really aren’t going to use something enough to warrant keeping it. We’ve used it in the past, so we keep thinking we’re going to keep using it. But when you figure out you haven’t used it in the past x/months/years, the chances of using it in the future goes way down. Release it so others who can use it and would be excited to have it can enjoy it.

It’s nice when you can chuck a bunch out at once and see the space open up, but I remind myself that it came in one bag at a time and can leave that way as well.

If you are Facebook, search for a local “Buy Nothing” group.

You post a picture of what you are getting rid of with a short description, and local folks can come by and pick it up from your porch or driveway with no contact.

It is very local specific.

You can also post for an item you are looking for.

You decide who to give it to if there are multiple people interested.

Everything is free.

Also, you can sell items(or search for them) on Facebook Marketplace.

Addresses, paypal info, etc. is given through private message.

We have moved tons of stuff with these two methods.
