There are rumors circulating on social media that Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot will be tendering her resignation after being caught cheating on her wife, First Lady Amy Eshleman.
The rumors stemmed from a now-deleted tweet posted by Chicago civil rights advocate Ja'Mal Green. "Lori Lightfoot is resigning tomorrow in a stunning end to her mayorship. WOW," he tweeted.

I think the recent stories about her pissing off the Illinois state Dem party, the police union, and the massive shootings among blacks don’t leave her with a lot of advocates. The corporates have been talking about pulling out of Chicago. She’s not delivering the loot. Just being ugly and stupid alone won’t keep you in office.

I remember a time when “her wife” would have been flagged as a grammatical error.
Just wondering. Is it really two women, or one woman and someone who thinks he/she/it is a man? It’s all so confusing. I liked it better when there were only “men” and “women,” not 58 genders and 103 pronouns and one day you’re one thing and the next you’re something else, and apparatus doesn’t matter - it’s what you identify as that matters.

If that is the case then why do lesbians pair up with women who look and act like men?
