Yes indeed. My point about Rex is that he has no faith in Trump or Trump’s plan, and thus is a defeatist, and he makes a number of assumptions as though they are factual, and I think he is 100% wrong:

There is no indication that Putin has ever wanted to “take Ukraine”.

Last I read, not long ago, the US has beaucoup Navy and air assets all around the western Pacific around Chinat, up and down. Xi might try but CCP will not succeed.
