I am confused by the ‘get vaccinated’ / ‘don’t get vaccinated’ arguments. But I can’t believe Donald Trump would let his daughter get vaccinated if it was such a bad thing.

So the confusion continues, for me at least.

You are assuming Donald Trump knows EVERYTHING, including the efficacy of this unproven, never-used-before-style of vaccine. Which would be foolish.

President Trump was the one who threw the gears in motion and who pushed so hard to get all this started. all thanks to operation warp speed.

remember Democrats saying they wouldn’t take a Trump Vaccine, because it was rushed?

The adult Trump children are very independent of his preferences.

Ivanka is particularly independent as she converted to Judaism and adopts positions that are seen as pro-women (but short of feminist). Nothing wrong with her views, nothing at all. I’m just glad she worships God whether under a Rabbi or Reverend’s leadership. I totally believe Ivanka is good people.

But there is no question she loves her father just like most of us here.

Well, she is an adult and makes up her own mind. He’s not a doctor, and has already shown the public alternatives like HCQ etc. He was successfully treated and returned to work after he had Covid-19. So I think he’s done all he can to show Americans options.

"But I can’t believe Donald Trump would let his daughter get vaccinated if it was such a bad thing."

I read a story a while back that both President Trump and Melania got vaccinated before they left the White House. Why anyone who had the virus would get the vaccine is beyond me.

“But I can't believe Donald Trump would let his daughter get vaccinated if it was such a bad thing.”

I'm not going to argue if someone should get the vaccine or not. I believe in personal freedom and we shouldn't be forced to get vaccinated. However, you are aware that Donald and Melania both got vaccinated before they left the oval office, right? Not to mention, Trump pushed the vaccine for months, called it operation warp speed, wants credit for the widespread availability of the vaccines, and just as recently as last week released an official memo criticizing the pause of the Johnson and Johnson roll out.

Trump aired his anger at the decision to pause the distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine over concerns about adverse effects involving six instances of people experiencing blood clotting after vaccination.

“The federal pause on the J&J shot makes no sense. Why is the Biden White House letting insanely risk-averse bureaucrats run the show?” asked Trump in the statement on Friday evening.

“Just six people out of the nearly 7 million who've gotten the Johnson & Johnson vaccine reported blood clots. The condition is more common in the general population, and every vaccine — indeed, every medication — carries some risk, including the Moderna and Pfizer jabs,” the former president continued.

“With COVID cases still rising nationwide, it's sheer lunacy to delay millions of vaccinations and feed fears among the vax-resistant,” he added.

“Indeed, this moronic move is a gift to the anti-vax movement,” Trump concluded. “The science bureaucrats are fueling that deranged pseudo-science.”
