A melted mixture of butter, olive oil and lemon juice combo works well on fish dinners.

I believe in Glasgow those are deep-fried and called “cannon balls”.

Four places for butter:

1. On toast with a properly grilled cube steak.
2. On a poppy seed hard roll with leftover Thanksgiving turkey
3. On a toasted New England style hot dog roll, grilled onions perfect it.
4. On fried dough (or Navajo fry bread in the south west), confectionary sugar optional.

A one pound tube of JD’s makes 4 eggs. It’s hard to eat 2 without feeling full and they stick to your ribs. It’s not really a lot, just a sausage and eggs breakfast, but for some reason I feel more than sated after just a pair.

Put some butter on a Butterhorn pastry or a cinnamon roll and you will not regret it.

Who knew we needed to be told how to use butter?

We put a bit of butter in our deviled eggs...so creamy and delicious. Found a recipe using butter a year or so ago and will never go back. Ashame it took me so long to find that out.

I’d prefer butter over the sickeningly sweet frosting they put on them.

It is getting next to impossible to find a Pop Tart WITHOUT the frosting. I used to be able to get Blueberry and Strawberry, at least. Now I am down to just strawberry, and I have to hunt for it.

Four places for butter

My list includes spaghetti. Most spaghetti sauces give me heartburn if they're not laced with butter.

I have to agree with you. I’m a great fan of real butter, but potato chips dipped in butter sounds disgusting.

Try thin sliced rounds of daikon radish, raw or air fried.

My dad taught me to put butter on radishes.

When I was a kid we’d take buttered saltines and grill them over pine needles at a nearby park. Any excuse to make a fire back then.
