Unconvinced at this point.
In this situation, when an officer says, “Drop it.”, he should have dropped wherever he had in his hand and waited for further instructions.
Remember, he has already proven to be able to fire a gun.
If his immediate response was to raise your hands, he made the officer (operating in stark shadows/light) to make a split second decision on his intent.
Remember, he has already proven to be able to fire a gun.
Officer should stand on his training; of which there is video of the class and his ability to perform in this situation.

Passing that situational training exercise is his defense.

Honestly? I find myself not giving two F's about this. I got only so much caring about these things and right now I'm all out.

I've seen this movie before. I'm watching Spartacus, season 3.

There was a screen shot that showed the kid angling left toward the cop, and a pistol hanging by his side in his right hand, away from the cop but visible. He tried a quick whip the pistol behind the fence as he put his hands up. Quick movements in front of a cop who thinks you have a gun are really bad idea.
