I’m still tying to get my Windows 10 PC to dual boot to Linux. The problem is that Linus is an ISO boot and Windows is an EIFT (or something) boot.

It may be in your bios boot order. Your Bios has to be set to boot UEFI. And the USB has to be at the top of the list. Then the CD next as second. Then the rest as default. Why PC’s were never set up that way by default I have no clue. Greed?

Oh hold on... I see where you are with that...
Download “Rufus” and make a USB stick with your preferred ISO of linux. the default settings should be default in Rufus to do both Bios and UEFI boot. “target system”.

You need to set BIOS ‘Secure Boot’ to off (to install Linux).
Also, make sure that you install WinBlows firstm then Linux (it will make it a lot easier for GRUB).

Yeah, do a search for “install linux on UEFI system”. I did it on my wife and daughter’s UEFI laptops. Rufus is the best.
