I find this an interesting conversation.
I got my normal haircut last year in April/May time frame... and I haven’t cut it since.
My beard I was keeping trimmed up until the election. Since then other then a trim for tidiness I haven’t cut it back. My older daughter told me this past Easter weekend I had the Santa look going on.
Told the wife I’m not getting the hair done until the covid crap is done. The beard I haven’t decided on a trigger for a good deforesting.
And to be honest my hair has never been this long in my entire life. Mom kept it short till jr high and then I was in NJROTC in HS then straight to USNA and have had a military cut of some type since.
IT was almost torture having the tops of my ears getting tickled for almost 2 months until it was finally long enough to make it behind the ear instead of on top of it.

I haven’t been to the beauty shop for at least 2 years. I cut my own hair and style it. I also Color it to hide the gray or else highlight it so it blends in. I can put the color on and do the dishes while it’s developing - takes too much time to go to the beauty shop.
When I was a twenty something, I bleached it out white and then toned it platinum blonde. My mom was a beautician, so I learned a lot watching her when I was a kid. I won’t be going till the nonsense is over either — unless the local shop is more lenient than what I read about other places.
