Weird thought I just had.
So we've been in this insane virtual world, not of our own choosing, for over a year.
This has included "virtual" church services.
One church this weekend requested that people "register" before attending the in-person service, due to limited building capacity (25 percent or something like that, now that our county has gone to "orange tier" and is now allowing indoor dining and attendance of indoor religious services).
I personally find the idea of having to "register" for a church service a very distasteful thing.
My point being: I wonder if (all of the opportunity for rampant fraud being available) some people (individuals, not the corrupt local and state and national leaders) fear that a photo ID means their own ballot with their preferences will be linked to them: no more "secret ballot."
I'm not trying to downplay the fraud, just wondering about individuals feeling uneasy about having to show ID to vote if that means their actual votes will be linked with their face and name.

Tomorrow morning I will be detailing my Mopar Godfather’s 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, 440 6-pack. It’s going up for auction next weekend so he can put a down payment on a new house. It’s a very long story but he’s losing his house he’s lived at for 40 years because his father in-law died and the house was built on FiL’s land and he never got the deed to the land his house was on.
Anyway, it’s the passing of an era. But I’m honored I’ll be able to detail it and get the last pictures of it. I’ll post one or two later tomorrow.
And yes, I know it’s Easter. It just makes it all the more memorable. *sigh*

The FBI and CIA should be disbanded, their employees banned from any government employment at any level, unable to hold any office, whether elected or appointed, then held in solitary confinement anywhere we have space while their entire personal and professional history is gone over. If they’re okay, throw them out on their butts and wish them an interesting life. If they’ve done bad things, well... there’s a penalty for that.

How would that happen? Right now, you tell them who you are so they can check for your name on the rolls. That doesn’t make your vote attach to your name.
With voter ID, you would also tell them who you are. There would just be the added step of proving you are who you say you are.
