local Walmart and they now have large banner saying mask required, will give you one if you don’t have one. So I turned around and left.

Interesting. They had people outside in the beginning, but gave up long ago here. It will be interesting to see if they fire up again. Did you talk to anyone?
When I went to Walmart, in a town nearby, early one, the employee stopped me and I told them that I didn’t use a mask, because lack of oxygen made me dizzy, and I was sure that Walmart would not want me to faint and hurt myself.
Employee said go right on in. Several people behind me came up to me inside and said they agreed with me, but just didn’t want the hassle of arguing. shrug. I didn’t argue. Ha.
Now, early on here in our county, hubby was stopped, and he asked do I really have to wear a mask. The Employee said, not really we can’t really force you to do it. So he went in with a naked face. If they had insisted, he would have just left.
A few weeks later, we had to go to the hospital ER, and they handed us masks. I said I prefer not to wear it. They shrugged and said ok. Said we just have to give it to you and tell you that the virus is in the community, but you don’t have to put it on. In fact the Employee said she would like to take hers off, cause it gave her headaches.
Walmart here has been schizophrenic about masks. They only had one store entrance available and had the people outdoors making sure you wore a mask, the store aisles all marked etc. Then they gradually got rid of the folks at the entrance and the aisle markings. After the New Year I started going to Walmart without a mask. There were roughly 15 to 20 percent customers without mask. Today was first time I saw the banner and I just turned around and left not entering the store. I do remember last month when I went to get my haircut, there was a lady getting her hair done and they were talking about Walmart, the lady said she worked at Walmart and since the masks were not mandatory they didn’t enforce wearing them.
I’ll have to test them out next time I go, especially with Florida being open and Walmart is not a private company they are a public company with public shareholders, so the private company excuse won’t fly.
I think they need to ramp it up to raise the fear level to get more people to take the fake Chinese vax. The right people are dooming end of all life rhetoric.
Like the quote from the movie Wall Street.
Panic is good. Panic works. Or was it greed? I forget. Either apply.

“Employee said she would like to take hers off, cause it gave her headaches.”
Just what I want— my medical providers distracted by a headache and not at peak performance.
Since I work at WM, I know the policy of my very small town store only. We still have “health monitors” who cover the two entrances. They are there to offer masks to those who want one. Occasionally you will get someone that lets the power go to their head and they stop the people and tell them they must wear it.
Last time I was on door duty, I just gave out the masks when they wanted them. Told them to say “health issue” if questioned.
What surprised me the most is how many people are STILL wearing the darn things and how many come in and say OMG, I forgot my mask, do you have one?
We have a long way to go on this one. They are programmed to wear the face diaper. This is a military town.
