Sharon Osbourne has left The Talk following a dispute over her defense of Piers Morgan's criticism of Meghan Markle, CBS confirmed in a statement on Friday.
Osbourne, 68, ended her more than a decade with the daytime chat show following the heated on-air debate on March 10, which sent the production into a hiatus that has lasted two weeks.
The controversy began when Osbourne delivered a vociferous defense of her friend Piers Morgan, who quit Good Morning Britain after furious criticism of his staunch insistence that he did not believe Markle's explosive claims in her interview with Oprah Winfrey.

You don’t mess with Sharon. Have to give it to her. She defends “right”.
I heard she was fired?
Another site says she has apologized...but not sure for what.
I do love when the left eats it’s own. She got chewed up and spit out by the same hysterical, leftist machine that she helped create.
If someone had told me 40 years ago that perhaps 90% of the caucasian rock stars of the ‘70s (the Osbornes, Ted Nugent, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison et al.) would be widely considered right-wing reactionaries in 2020, I’d have wondered what sort of drugs such a person was using.
Yep. I agree with Sharon on Piers Morgan but she once said Trump was unfit for the White House, so, screw her.
All speech is free but some speech is more free’er than others.
Scrooge everything leftard and wokeness. Can’t handle opposing viewpoints without tyrannical censoring and ostracizing those who present them. What a miserable bunch of pukes 🤮 indeed.
They actually aren’t “that rich”. A recent article said their net worth is around 12 million combined. If they made 5% return they would have an income of $600,000...before taxes. How many $6000 dresses can one buy? Not sure what their annual income is or what “business” perks (free dinners, free transport, etc) that they receive that help pad the lifestyle. I wish them luck and farewell ... hope they have a nice life.
The cost of daring to challenge the *narrative*
We’ve become a clown country...
...and our laws and rights are interpreted by clowns, and their uncivilized clown voter enforcers.
Ditto that. My thoughts exactly.
I remember the scene in the MTV series where she throws a frozen turkey into her neighbor’s yard. I’ve always liked her...she’s got game!
It is now racist to publicly disbelieve any black celebrity.
She was right.
Good for her. She isn’t an easy pawn for anyone.
I used to like her. But she’s one of the reasons Leah Rimini, Marie Osmond and holly Robinson peete among others, we’re given walking papers. Karma.
I always wonder if you took the hardcore Black Sabbath fan from 1971 and showed them a clip of Ozzy and Sharon in the future what they would have thought.
