"I don't know a flipping thing about Pluto TV, or Amazon Fire, so I'll ping the list..."

Pluto TV ... PING!

You can find all the Windows Ping list threads with FR search: just search on keyword "windowspinglist".

Thanks to Tolerance Sucks Rocks for the ping!

Have had the $40 Roku for the past year and it's proved worthy many times over. Can't catch the Bannon's War Room? Your subscribed cable slowly edging the conservative news off? Between Pluto and Roku's own channel you have OneAmerica, America's Voice, Newsmax, Blaze, and The First. Tubi has thousands of terrible movies but a search usually finds a gem worth watching.

Due to illnesses I found myself housebound prior to the COVID so found a quasi-legal way to not miss out. File-sharing sites like The Pirate Bay are still here. A catcher program like Deluge and a multi-purpose opener like PeaZip has you covered. VPN is strongly suggested but I've found using ZoneAlarm and FireFox tools and settings accomplishes the same.

And all of those are free. I see everything (Yes, Zach Snider's "Super Friends" really IS better) but don't save nor share them, which assuages my ethics concerns. The only problem I've had is a cable/internet provider charging a huge fee for exceeding their download limits (rhymes with Hay, Tea and Tee). That just made me shop better for providers so all good.

While dubious I've not heard of anyone actually dragged to court over careful personal use of downloads. On the upside I've seen much from PPV channels I couldn't afford otherwise. WWE stuff is up mere hours after air, all the UFC anyone could want, Disney Plus and HBO programs without giving the libs money...I see it like the old pirates' assault on the Crimson Permanent Assurance from Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life", just bloodless.
