Does anyone know much of the market Cumulus Media and Westwood One represent? Locally, we have iHeartRadio. Don’t know whether it is separate or a part of the Cumulus or Westwood One umbrellas.

I have no clue either. The only thing I listened to it for was when Rush had subs. For music I have Sirius/XM.

I like Dan Bongino.. in short clips.. on TV.
I miss Rush terribly, but the last few days I have been turning the radio off. It's too sad. I can't listen to Rush doing commercials.. It feels wrong.

Got to remember that this is the beginning of the period of time in which and it will go on for the next couple of months in which more stations are going to look at filling those 12NOONPM-3PM hours. This also includ stationes my home radio station, WTIC AM, which could end going local.

It looks as though the stations affiliated with other networks are not waiting for Premier to make up its mind about going forward.

I want to first off congratulate Dan Bongino on his brand new upcoming weekday gig. Let me say this, Dan is no Rush. There will NEVER EVER be another Rush Limbaugh....

However, Dan has all of the passion, fight, rallying ability and agility that we disparately need right now given what is what is going on with Biden and his regime right now. I've had a chance to listen to some of his shows where he has been discussing efforts to get Parler back up and running after what Amazon did to them back in January. He knows that our nation is going to Hades in a handbasket under Biden and his regime and he is addressing these matters with such urgency. This is something that Rush has been doing all of these years and clearly Dan is eager to take the torch and run with it.

We also need to pray for his continuing clean bill of health also. As I'm sure a lot of you know he has been having medical issues recently.

Another person competing for Rush's 20+ million audience is Todd Starnes. This man started out on Fox News Talk Radio and now has his own syndicated radio company, Starnes Media. He broadcasts out of Memphis TN. Like Dan, he also is very concerned about where America is headed under Biden. He has guests on to discuss the news of the day and also addresses religious issues as well.

Like I said, there's NO replacing Rush, HOWEVER, either one of these guys, Dan Bongino or Todd Starnes would make for great listening and keeping up with current events.

Ugh, I have no doubt you are right, FRiend. WTIC 1080 will no doubt "go local" during the 12n-3pm slot. I won't be listening. I can barely stand their local programming now. IMO, the best local show on WTIC 1080 is actually Computer Talk With Tab on Saturday mornings...

Fortunately where I live, up here near the MA border, I have another Rush station: WHYN 560. It's a very good station that has run "The Best of Rush" every Saturday afternoon for years, besides Rush live every day. I'll be curious to see who WHYN puts in the 12n-3pm slot.

I finally have a day when I can listen to EIB all three hours today, and the annoying Brett Winterble is the host. Ugh, can't stand him. Ken Matthews was hilarious the other day. He's no Rush, but at least he was entertaining.

Yes, continued prayers for the health of Dan Bongino. I know he recently got a great clean bill of health (re cancer), but... we should keep him in our prayers.
