Good for Tennesseans! I considered heading there since you also ended the covid restrictions, it’s closer and I LOVE Tennessee and its people. I’ve spent a week in Gatlinburg every year for 8 years until 2020, visited Memphis twice for a week each time, and was in Nashville for 5 days - all for bridge tournaments. But this is a golf trip and I wanted something a little warmer at this time of the year.

The power of our dollar is all we have and I will not enter establishments that require a mask when there are others that do not.

We have never had mask restrictions except in doctor’s offices and by some liberal mayors of the big cities. Small towns haven’t made restrictions. Businesses don’t even try. My problem is that some say they are required but they don’t enforce it. I will only go in where they are enforced by the business. At the same time I’m glad we don’t have mandates. Leave it up to the businesses. If a person like me won’t do business where they aren’t required, people that won’t wear one can do business where they are not required.

It should be a choice, either way, by the businesses or the individual. I just don’t like them lying and trying to trick people.

I went to Tractor Supply the other day because when I drove by the door it said “masks required”. When I got in there most customers weren’t wearing one so I left and ordered what I needed online. I’m not forced to shop there.

Nobody should be forced either way by government. Businesses can make their own rules, either way, but don’t make false claims to get me in the door.
