We have never had mask restrictions except in doctor’s offices and by some liberal mayors of the big cities. Small towns haven’t made restrictions. Businesses don’t even try. My problem is that some say they are required but they don’t enforce it. I will only go in where they are enforced by the business. At the same time I’m glad we don’t have mandates. Leave it up to the businesses. If a person like me won’t do business where they aren’t required, people that won’t wear one can do business where they are not required.

It should be a choice, either way, by the businesses or the individual. I just don’t like them lying and trying to trick people.

I went to Tractor Supply the other day because when I drove by the door it said “masks required”. When I got in there most customers weren’t wearing one so I left and ordered what I needed online. I’m not forced to shop there.

Nobody should be forced either way by government. Businesses can make their own rules, either way, but don’t make false claims to get me in the door.

I agree with that approach - let each person make up their own mind based on their personal beliefs and health situation. I wouldn’t go into a store long before 2020 if I was coughing or sneezing out a storm of germs. That’s just common courtesy.

I know 2 people who’ve said they’ll wear a mask in stores now until they die, without regard to whatever law might be in place. We’re both asking for the information and freedom to make decisions about our own health.

I don’t understand your reasoning.

Some business are required to post the mandate because of the “home office” not their own choice. If they let the mandate slide, it could be their way of resistance.
