The last couple days the media, including conservative media, and people here on FR, having been trying to convince everyone how great Grenell is, and gays in general.
Being nice to gays, doesn’t mean telling them everything they believe or do is correct, or accepting that they rule over us, which is what we are being told we should do.

Beyond that, yes, the erasure of womanhood is an effective topic and could have been used more in the campaign, but that is the T part of LGBT, not the G/L. And contrary to the Left’s alphabet soup nonsense, many people, including some homosexuals, do not see those issues as being equivalent. If you want some evidence, just see that such people still voted for Trump despite his (very wise) ban on trannies in the military.
Also, this person criticizes some positions of the Log Cabin Republicans, but fails to recognize that many of those issues have problems that can be divorced from the sexual orientation angle. For example, it’s simply not the proper role of Congress to ban conversion therapy or pass some “equality act”. And there are also 1A concerns with some local anti-discrimination proposals. Not all people comfortable with same-sex marriage want to see granny bakers thrown in prison for opposing it. Attack it on the political level from that angle rather than anything to do with the appropriateness of homosexual relationships.

Our strength is in free-market policy solutions and standing strong for Christian principles that simply cannot be compromised. Also, a live and let live philosophy that by default should attract homosexuals to the party itself just as long as that philosophy doesn't abridge the Christian foundation that the party should stand on.
Republicans have already sold out on so-called gay marriage and funding for abortions. If ever there was a hill to die on, it's now transgenderism and advocating for homosexual rights that go above and beyond to what individuals already have under the Constitution.
Conversion therapy......I am a woman & I would never be with a man who is gay & has gone thru conversion therapy. If you are a gay man you are NOT going to be straight after some hack “therapy.” It’s ludicrous.

BS. While I’d have preferred that Grenell mention parenthetically that he opposes the Log Cabin agenda, his failure to do so does not imply what the above passage claims - which may be why they used the weasel-word “signals” much like the Left talks about “dog whistles.”
