If the new variant can re-infect people who developed immunity to the previous variant, why do they think the vaccines will confer immunity to it? What does the vaccine do that naturally occurring immunity doesn’t?
I’m confused. Why is it that variants of the virus are all named after the country they came from but our government now won’t call the initial virus the China Virus?
Wonder if the clinical syndrome observed when previously infected people are exposed to this variant is actually the symptoms of an immunological response rather than an actual pervasive, invasive infection directly impacting organs such as the lungs or heart. If it is an immunological reaction, it is can be serious but it is less likely to kill or follow the same pattern as a novel infection.
So FR is going to reprint every BS story on a new more deadly Virus on a daily basis? This a complete load of manure to keep us locked down.
