The Queen of Country has been vaccinated.
“Dolly gets a dose of her own medicine,” Dolly Parton, 75, tweeted on Tuesday, alongside a photo of herself at her appointment, sporting a sparkly-blue, long-sleeve shirt with upper arm cutouts in just the right place for the coronavirus vaccine injection.
In the tweet, Parton tagged her vaccine site — Nashville, Tennessee’s Vanderbilt University Medical Center — where she calmly sits in a low-backed chair in front of a logo-covered backdrop.
“I’m finally gonna get my vaccine — I’m so excited,” Dolly told followers in an Instagram video posted from her appointment. “I’ve been waiting a while, I’m old enough to get it, and I’m smart enough to get it,” she told her fans, specifying that she received the Moderna COVID-19 shot, which she helped fund with a $1 million donation last April.
Then, “to fit the occasion,” the “9 to 5” star launched into a rendition of “Jolene” where she instead sings, “Vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, I’m begging of you, please don’t hesitate … ’cause once you dead, then that’s a bit too late.”
“The faster everyone gets vaccinated, the faster we can return to normal,” she went on, before taking aim at those who don’t plan to — or are on the fence about — getting vaccinated.
“I just want to say to all of you cowards out there: Don’t be such a chicken squat. Get out there and get your shot.”

We had our second Pfizer dose last Friday. We were a little tired and chilly that afternoon, but nothing since then-not even a slightly sore arm like I had with the first shot.
We have traveled extensively in the past, been injected for plague, yellow fever, cholera, swine flu, etc. so we weren’t concerned about this vaccine.
However, those who are child-bearing age should make an informed decision whether to take it.

I have issues with my immune system and every vaccine is an “immune event”. I am not an anti-vaxxer, but I am very choosy about which vaccines I take. I have had doctors who have backed me on this approach. To call people cowards for not getting the vaccine when you don’t know their situation is igorant. I’ve lost a lot of respect for Dolly in the last year or so.
Leave it up to the MSM to create controversy where none really exists........

I’m intelligent enough to completely ignore a virus with a survival rate of over 99%.
I refuse to take a risky vaccine for a virus that I have no chance in Hell of contracting.

In this town, the majority of the people do not wear masks. In the breakfast spot I go to, you never see a mask.
Our number of cases and CFR are very low. Actually, given that the seasonal flu has mysteriously disappeared, I wouldn’t be surprised if the ‘rona CFR was zero.
For the first seven decades of my life I was *always* told that masks will not stop a virus. Now, suddenly, because it is convenient to Satan and his minions, only a mask will save your life.
It’s a scam. A fraud.
