WASHINGTON, D.C. — Although it may feel like North Carolina hit a crucial benchmark in returning to normalcy from COVID-19 this week, Dr. Anthony Fauci is voicing concern for states that have pulled back on regulating limits on social life.
In an interview with "Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd, Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, advised caution for what he feels is prematurely lifting restrictions among some states.
North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia all eased major restrictions on Friday, as did Massachusetts, Arkansas and Wyoming. Several other states eased some level of restrictions. The loosening of rules came days after the nation passed the 500,000 death mark from COVID-19.
"We had a graphic showing about a dozen states, some, like North Carolina, allowing more fans in the stands. We had more indoor bars being open and things like this," Todd began his line of questioning. "You and [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director] Dr. [Rochelle] Walensky were like 'not yet.' Why not yet? Why is this week not the week yet to ease restrictions?"
"It's really too premature right now to be pulling back too much," said Fauci, who's come under the public eye since the start of the pandemic. "I'm concerned that we're still at that level of 70,000 [infections per day], and when people start then pulling back on mitigation methods and mitigation activities, you have the risk, and it is a real risk, of seeing it go back up, and it's not something I'm imagining. Go back and look at the surges that we've had over the past year. It was always at a time when you wanted to pull back."

Its not just a cold though, just sayin’. I watched my husband sicker than he’s ever been not able to walk more than 20 feet without breathing difficulties. In bed 8 days sleeping 16 hours.

Since the ‘80’s I’ve been a member of Arba Sicula...an educational organization that promotes Sicilian culture and language thru writings, recordings and an annual trip to Sicily (put on hold with the pandemic). It’s run by a professor out of New York. I’m a generic WASP...but I’ve had an interest in Sicily since being stationed there in the mid-70’s. I love the place.
The professor publishes an annual journal and a bi-annual, very slick newsletter. The last newsletter did a massive article on the little weasel Fauci (complete worth photo)...who is apparently Sicilian. The professor extolled the massive intellect and expert medical skills of the little schitt. A veritable hero born of Sicilian loins. The professor was also quick to say President Trump was a horrible president and was impeding Dr Falseci’s efforts to save the world.
I no longer have a membership in the organization.

This is a risk vs reward scenario. Based solely on percent of people vaccinated it’s too early to open. Based on the promised rate of future vaccinations it’s not too early.

That is because Influenza and/or a cold virus will do that.
If you remember they used to call it, "Cold and Flu Season."
What Fauci and his pals did was to pick out a cold virus, years in advance, and around cold and flu season, they ramped it up with certain political advantages unknown to any other disease, other than maybe AIDS.
Some people got a mild cold and others got a full blown Flu, just depended on the condition their immune systems.
Last fall, I got a case of Mountain Cedar Fever which mimics the Flu and Covid, both of which I tested negative for. Doctor said I had a severe reaction to the pollen. I was sicker than a dog for over two weeks and it took at least two months for me to get my sense of smell back.
I would have had this without the covid around, but with all the fear we are experiencing, I got scared.
My point is Fauci and his pals had planned to take advantage of a regular cold and flu season, years in advance of the covid, in order to prepare us for their Great Reset and all that garbage. And, they stomped on Trump and us to do it.
They shut down our economy, shut down our schools, shut down our Churches and filled us with fear so that we would do whatever they wanted us to do, which was to mask up and take the shot, all for what is essentially a cold virus, yes a cold virus, during cold and flu season.
I hate being lied to.
Why doesn’t he go back to his war torn Brooklyn and leave the rest of America alone.
