Who the heck is QAnon anyway?
I keep hearing about them but can’t put a handle on who this shadowy group is? How large are they? What do they believe? Who funds them? Who are their leaders?
And if Q is simply a LARP, why is the left and its friends so energized to discredit Q?
From what I have gathered, Q is the enemy who convinced everyone willing to stand up for America that they needed to ‘stand by’ as ‘Patriots in Charge’ were going to deal with it.
We got scammed by evil.
QAnon is an unhinged moron who peddles pizzagate and other unfounded conspiracy theories. The fact that this guy is so crazy makes him a likely DNC plant so they can point their flingers at the naïve souls who believe him. I am not even sure this guy is real and if he is, I don’t want him on my side
that’s what I want to know 🤷♀️

Good question, but I doubt you’ll get a straight answer from the Q followers around here.
I have ventured a few times onto their “Q - Trust Trump’s Plan” thread and asked questions - it didn’t go well.
They always start the thread with a lot of course material - links and position statements - and as long as you quietly read the material and follow the links, they are happy to have you there.
But if you question Q’s identity or why it needs to be a mystery, or why the messages have to be decoded, or why their predictions are often wrong...
...they call you a newbie and condescendingly tell you to “do your homework”.
If you ask me, they are a very over-sensitive lot - but no different than any religious sect. Like religious beliefs, they can’t prove any of it, so they cloak it in mystery and get offended when people express doubts.
From what I’ve seen, believing in QAnon is about like believing in your horoscope. I don’t think very many people take him/her/it seriously except the left wing trying to create a boogy-man.
Q is a fabricated story which was designed to misdirect the GOP base into believing that the Democrat corruption was eventually going to be investigated.
Remember “Whitewater”...”Ukraine”...”Birth Certificate”
Different stories, same result.
The message is that the Uniparty will do whatever it takes to stay in power....until the Democrats finally get what they want.
