Good question, but I doubt you’ll get a straight answer from the Q followers around here.
I have ventured a few times onto their “Q - Trust Trump’s Plan” thread and asked questions - it didn’t go well.
They always start the thread with a lot of course material - links and position statements - and as long as you quietly read the material and follow the links, they are happy to have you there.
But if you question Q’s identity or why it needs to be a mystery, or why the messages have to be decoded, or why their predictions are often wrong...
...they call you a newbie and condescendingly tell you to “do your homework”.
If you ask me, they are a very over-sensitive lot - but no different than any religious sect. Like religious beliefs, they can’t prove any of it, so they cloak it in mystery and get offended when people express doubts.
Because this MSM/Democrat opposition to Q-Anon leads the Q believers to cling to their beliefs — it must be real if the left appears to oppose it. This is a very very clever psy-op.
Q is emphasized by the Left so it can be linked to every conservative and Trump supporter making them appear either ridiculous or dangerous.

I don’t remember Q ever writing this.It is simply speculation by some people.
Q doesn't write anything and it is ALL speculation.
Then, when the speculation doesn't pan out, Q followers reengineer the speculation and predictions.
No confusing that they have published hundreds of anti Q articles, tv reports, congressional bill.
I'm going to go with - they perceive the Q movement as a threat, just as France and German do.
Why? Perhaps just because it pulls back the curtain on their evil and exposes their plot to promote marxism and subvert our country.
And if you read the beginning material, you would have your question about Q answered.
Q wrote several thousand things over 3 years... much before it became main street news.

From what I’ve seen, believing in QAnon is about like believing in your horoscope. I don’t think very many people take him/her/it seriously except the left wing trying to create a boogy-man.
Being a person who has researched Q over the years, I am pretty sure Q never mentioned March 4th.
But that’s the media for you.
This upcoming Thursday? Well it’s my birthday and it would be a nice present but I ain’t holding my breath.
Conservatives need to stop playing into the hands of the media by acting as if this garbage is mainstream conservatism. It isn't.
Perhaps “discredited” is the wrong word.
But like it or not, Q has become the poster child for conspiracy theorists. “Q” has literally replaced the phrase “tin foil hat” as the cliché to describe conspiracy theorists!
Maybe it is undeserved - that doesn’t matter. The fact is that the concept of Q has become a useful tool for discrediting the Right.
I was not exaggerating when I said that lately, every time I declare my support for President Trump, I get asked about Q. Every time.
Why is that? I’ll tell you why - it is because the fake news has launched this as a propaganda strategy - push the narrative that all Trump supporters are Q followers. That way, Trump and his supporters get painted as conspiracy theory nut jobs.
It is quite clever, actually.
The Q supporters love it because it fulfills their fantasy that there are a 75 million Q followers out there.
The RINOs love it because it fulfills their fantasy that they are still the true Republicans, and that Trump supporters are nut jobs.
The Democrats love it because it fulfills their fantasy that the Right is superstitious and that Trump has brainwashed us all.
Look, I know the Q followers are genuine supporters of President Trump, and I know they want what is best for the Republic. Q supporters are good people. I get that.
But, deserved or not, it is undeniable that the Q phenomenon has gained a reputation for attracting nut job conspiracy theorists, and for that reason, Q has become a perfect tool for the Left to paint all Trump supporters as kooks.
