Texas tough guy takes on Manson Family in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and now entire Third Reich goes up in smoke in Inglourius Basterds. Will archaeologists unearthing these film believe they are history? Who cares. It's fun wishful thinking.

Quentin likes to reimagine endings to his historical movies.

I was with my buddy, Lee Horsley, when he got the call from Tarantino to be in HATEFUL 8. Was a pretty exciting day.

It is a darn cool fantasy assassination.

Watch. Bnei Brith or the ADL will condemn the gratuitous, racist violence. If only he had also denegrated Soros somewhere in this.

That’s sweet. Tarantino has put out some quality flicks.

Somehow, you always expect the characters to jump out of the screen at you.

Definitely good writing and acting.
I think Pitt in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is my favorite.
That little girl killed it too.

I don't think it's wishful thinking. I think it is Tarentino's demonstration of the power of cinema.
We all KNOW what happened with Sharon Tate and the Manson family. But for one two hour period, we live a gratutious fantasy where the Manson family gets it's collective butt kicked. It has nothing at all to do with anyone who was really involved, but WE (the viewers) feel good, if only temporarily.

I saw that movie. I always thought Inglourius Basterds was just a lib’s wet dream.

Tarantino is on board to do the next Star Trek movie, the first Rated R version of one.

I don’t care much for ‘movies’ anymore, but Once Upon a Time... that was really quite good. Story, actors, creative factor a 9.5.

Plus a killer soundtrack. It really reminded me of what things were like when I was a kid in the late sixties.

Everyone should keep a flamethrower - a working flamethrower! - in their pool shed! And Tarantino certainly has no love for hippies

Lee Horsley was in Hateful 8? I don’t remember seeing him in the flick. Which character was he?

I concur about the flamethrower.
That was one of the better parts when Leo is hammered and yelled at the GD hippies...
I think he says something about damned hippies two or three other times.

I can’t stand him in real life, but DeCaprio is a good actor.
