Enjoy your gardens while you can. Age related health issues prevent me from walking the 150 feet to the main veggie garden for now. We did get 48 feet of Garlic and 12 feet of Shallots planted last fall but we had to hire someone to weed it and do some other pruning around the yard a couple of weeks ago. I will see if Lady Bender can take a couple of photos that I can post here. Beautiful sunshine but windy and cold on the shores of Humboldt Bay in north western Calif.

That’s so tough for you and Mrs. I’m sure. It makes me realize that I’m going to be forever grateful that hubby built my raised beds right next to the patio. Just about 8 feet to the retaining wall from the back patio door. It’s only about 100 sq. feet, but yields quite a bit.
I even have 2 beds on the upper end, that I can stand on the patio and not even have to bend over. They get quite a workout—I have the darned bad lumbar area that appreciates the no bending needed. Ha.
