The stripes of color on Jupiter are called its bands. There are two types of bands on Jupiter. The light colored bands are called zones. These are regions where gas in Jupiter’s atmosphere is rising upwards. The dark bands are called belts. These are regions where the gas in Jupiter’s atmosphere is sinking downwards. The colors in the bands are caused by slight differences in their temperatures and their composition (what chemicals are in them). Bands that are next to each other have winds which move in opposite directions.
Another reason: Jupiter is spinning like a top. That causes enormously fast jet streams. Jupiter’s rotation takes 9 hours and 50 minutes. The speed slows by about 5 minutes for areas farther from the equator. The average rate for the whole planet is 9.9 hours.
The jet streams are causing the rotational separation of the bands due to this speed.

Check out the 4 planets clustered together ahead of the rising Sun. Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn.
However, I'm not sure if any are far enough away from the Sun at this time (east/west-wise) to be visible in the early morning sky.
