THE CHINESE ARE LEAVING US IN THE DUST!
AN INTERNET SURVEY OF RECENT CHINESE ACHEIVEMENTS
China a has to put an end to its old practice of following others countries’ footsteps, and is now conducting research into a 180,000-ton double hull aircraft carrier because compared with a monohull aircraft carrier, it has exceptional advantages. It will have a huge capacity, capable of carrying 125 J-20 fighter jets enough to destroy any existing aircraft carrier in the world. The double hull carrier will have two identical runways for simultaneous taking off and landing. October 2013. A nuclear submarine servicing port will be included between the hulls, allowing unseen servicing.
YES – VERY DEPRESSING, TELL YOUR GRANDCHILDREN TO LEARN MANDARIN.

The high speed rail maps are astonishing. In October 1976, I took a train pulled by a steam locomotive from Chengdu south to the Yunnan province. It was a very primitive train ride. Later, I rode steam trains from Beijing north to Harbin and then another 800 miles further north into Manchuria.
Hard to believe what they’ve accomplished in only 40 years.
“Everything they produce is substandard stolen technology.”
Yes, they stole everything they could get their hands on, and continue to do so.
Yes, they do produce a lot of crap.
Everything, NO.
They know this, but it produces jobs and income...
They also know that you will run out of fools to purchase crap products. And there is a better return upmarket.
They are well aware of Dr Demming and what he did for Japan.
“Quantity has a quality all its own.”
Said old Uncle Joe.
That said, An engineer that I once worked with did QC work in China.
He said they go well beyond the usual study of design specifications in order to save.
They will cut any corner possible.
But they are learning.
So, I beseech you, not to believe what you have posted.
“China could sail their navy right into the Port of Seattle and Biden would do nothing.”
Taiwan is my fear.
“Keep your ChiCom fear porn.”
Many things are old, that does not imply wrong.
Could you tell us a bit about your view of Chinese ownership of America?
Yep, go overseas and see how old and used up American infrastructure looks.
The Chinese are not creative. They simply can’t lead in technology. They are too obedient. They make great rice paddies though.
Turkish News? (never heard of them)
But, if it comes from inside Turkey, it is 100% paid propaganda. There is and has never been freedom of the press in Turkey (or the Ottoman Empire)
So I say absolute Propaganda here.
Do you understand that in the blink of an eye we can nationalize everything the CCP owns in the US?
I’m reminded of a joke: if the DeGualle and the Ford are in the same port which gets to use the dry dock first?
The Chinese can build anything they want to. That doesn’t mean it will work well though.
” There a million little kids who can teach as off any number of numbers by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin,”
Since the election, I spend less time on current events and more looking at other things...(works for the ostrich?).
Two of so many, Lang Lang and Yuja Wang.
My wife drags me to the CSO and I’m continually surprised that it often appears to have only ONE (1) person on stage with much of a suntan? All the way back hiding in the percussion section. Most appear to be Asian, but hard to tell from the cheap seats.
Before covid, they did have a guest conductor with a surplus of melanin.
If we can sink Guam, I’m sure we can’t sink this!
Where was your iPhone made?
PERFECT!

The Chinese Century is well under way:

They are a unified central leadership group with “Make China the Greatest!” their core ideal. They plan far ahead and patiently but constantly move toward their goals. They pride themselves in their own culture, in their intelligence and in winning. They can be ruthless.
Learn their language? If you start before 8 years old and are immersed on it, maybe. Start at 18 in a U.S. classroom? For most, uh uh.
We allowed our sellout D’rat and RINO politicians and unpatriotic corporations to give CCP free reign. Now, unless patriots force pro-America changes and fast...we’ll pay. If we do, though, China will retaliate. We’ve allowed ourselves into another no-win situation, I fear.
Sure - their experimentation with capitalism since 1978 has changed China far more than their experimentation with Communism in the previous three decades. The Mandarins are still in control, but they have learned how to use Communism as a tactic to manage the peasants and corporatism (fascism) to grow the economy and deal with international relations. Because they have maintained social order through the threat of violence (we lost our social order permanently in the 60’s) they manage to do a lot of things better than us. Eventually, this will include military operations - not quite yet, but it is coming.
There was a pic of this carrier some time back. Pretty cool design.
Yep we are too buys worrying about boys playing girls sports, tearing down statues, racism, impeachment, cancelling drilling for oil, and the list goes on to get anything done good for America
china focuses on manufacturing. America focuses on financialization and divisive politics. America still has many strengths, but just look at America’s top universities and their graduates to see what America values.
Gee, now we get to seal their technology
“A bigger target to sink, not harder.”
Chin is outspending us in technology. Few more years we will be behind.
“Everything they produce is substandard stolen technology.”
Only their cheap stuff. My cousin works for a US company that makes industrial chemical sniffers...really complex stuff.
Chinas industrial sniffers are now made as good as theirs and sell for 1/2 the price.
In a few more years china will be outperforming the US in nearly every category. in 10 catagories they now control 4
