Tiger Woods was hospitalized after being involved in a single-car accident in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning. The extent of any potential injuries, as well as the circumstances of the accident, remain unclear.
Woods, 45, was in California for a two-day content shoot with Golf Digest/GOLFTV after serving as host for the PGA Tour's Genesis Invitational over the weekend. Pictures surfaced on social media of Woods smiling with Dwayne Wade and David Spade at Rolling Hills Country Club on Monday, but with his movement still restricted, he did not hit balls or play any holes. The shoot involved Woods giving on-course lessons to a number of celebrities, but he mostly provided instruction and hit a few putts. He was in good spirits on Monday but did not arrive to the course for the second day of shooting.
On Sunday, Woods told CBS’ Jim Nantz that he was awaiting the results of an upcoming MRI before he could ramp up practicing and training for a return to competition.
Woods last competed alongside his son at the PNC Championship, which finished on Dec. 20 in Orlando. He then underwent a microdiscectomy procedure to remove a pressurized disc fragment that was pinching a nerve. It was his fifth back surgery overall and the first since his spinal fusion in April 2017.
Unless you have an inside connection with the local police, there is no indication that he was driving too fast.
So how about setting your hatred for the guy aside and wait until all the facts come out and maybe ever say a little prayer for him? That's what you Christians are supposed to do isn't it?
Thank you! Love that photo.
It went off the hillside and there were no guard rails along that side of the highway where he ended up....
He could have served to miss a deer I lived out that way for years and I have locked them up avoiding wildlife
News reporting Tiger "hit something," the car crossed over into oncoming lane, then off the roadway.
It is a very heavily traveled road, lot’s of people drive real fast and learn too late that gravity and speed makes their brakes not really work so well, there are runaway car gravel pits also, He crashed at the beginning of the downhill and didn’t even reach the steep section yet, which means he was Hauling Ass!!! Most folks that live there know how to drive the hilly roads
btt
Prayers for Tiger.
The age of the roadway is what contributes to making it more dangerous. Decades old roadways are weren’t constructed for the amounts of traffic, types of vehicles, speeds we see now.
Oh my goodness! I pray for him and hope he recovers from this horrible car accident.
News now reporting Tiger “hit something,” but I’m sure you know more than anyone.
I’ve seen a guy roll his car on a residential street, nut this is New Mexico.
The media put that in their statement specifically so you could focus on it............LOL!
What’s the speed limit there, do you recall?
Awesome advert for Genesis.
Well okay, lets try some other scenarios:
The road made him text while driving?
The road made him drink and drive?
The road made his brakes defective?
The road made his accelerator stick?
The road made his cruise control malfunction?
I recently saw him mocking Trump on come comedians show. Kind of a nasty comment, trying to be funny.
I guess Jack Nicklaus will hold the record, with 18 majors.
Tiger has 14.
They said he’s getting his legs operated on. This could be the end of his career.
The roads in that part of LA - many parts of LA - often have incredibly steep declines immediately adjacent to the road surface. It’s often the case where you don’t have to travel far off the road to find yourself tumbling into a ravine. It literally happens several times a day in LA.
Is he whacked out on drugs again?
How is your golf game?
