“Labor is much more expensive in China than in the USA.”...in Yaun?

I believe the part about infrastructure and living standards in some parts of some cities there. But at what cost? Can’t say or do whatever you want to?
Some of our beautiful cities have gone to hades because doing drugs in the streets is OK, as is defecating in the street, robbery and assault are ok, etc. Instead of law and order, it is allowed as long as you say and do the right things.

I’m not sure I expressed that correctly. But what do you think? Where’s the line between totalitarianism and liberty?

I know you have traveled a lot, what is your opinion?

In China, totalitarianism is less than what we have here today. He was showing me some videos, amazing. Youth is more forward-looking than USA youth.

People are unable to find a plumber, welder, and other handyman job people. Now people are learning to do these jobs themselves. Elderly people will go to houses and collect packaging material so that they can be recycled. Electric scooters and cars are everywhere. Mobile phone battery chargers/renting everywhere.

20-30 yrs back mango was a novelty in China, now everywhere they have Mango trees, mango is surplus in China. Good facial cost $9-15. Here in the USA, it starts from $100+. Food is very cheap. The apartment lock was keyless, with an eye scan or finger. They have Taoboa, which better and faster than Amazon. During a pandemic, they increased delivery staff to bring more efficiency. In media (print or TV) no discussion on COVID, as it happened a long time back. People are living a normal life. They have scanning machines to check fever at every closed mall or airport or sports area.
