I’m sure there was some legitimate basis for the number since Democrats are the party of science. /sarc

Actually, with Democrats everything is arbitrary. They bend, twist and shift everything the way THEY want it to be.

They always knew he was a thug. The left for some reason wants him gone now. They seem to have lifted the shield of protection afforded democrats. Normally democrats are completely off limits to criticism. The long knives are out for Cuomo now. It’s not odd that republicans attack Cuomo. This time, elected state democrats are calling him out. They are agreeing with the state republicans. That is very odd behavior in NY politics. Normally it’s the republicans caving to the democrats. Now some national democrats are doing the same. Celebs and comedians are getting on the pile too. Normally, a DOJ investigation of a dem is just kabuki. The shield of protection is lifted and this time it may be different.

I live in NY. I cannot put into words just how evil, despicable, and vile a person Cuomo is. He is what Bob Grant used to call his father—sfaccim. It is an Italian idiom that basically refers to the remnants that would be found in a used condom.

Everyone in this state knows what a douchebag he is, but he has had the establishment backing up until now to get away with his tactics.

He will never serve a day in prison. And I seriously doubt anyone has the balls to vote to impeach him. Unfortunately, New York does not have a recall provision like California does.

Deep down though, this is Hillary getting him out of the way. Mario Cuomo got Bubba and his pig wife elected in this state. Andy boy got the cushy job with HUD as a reward. He then went on to destroy the housing market. He is stupid, but powerful. A dangerous mix.

Another aspect to your “thesis” may be that Cuomo’s not so deft handling of this scandal has now has opened up a can of worms for the Dems. That is to say, the corruption behind it is threatening to be exposed and this is becoming very problematic for the party (and probably for some Republicans too). Everything is starting to unravel thanks to Cuomo’s clumsy and heavy handed antics.

Cuomo made the mistake of threatening another political leader in New York over this. He could have gotten away with it, except:

1. The guy he threatened was a Democrat.

2. The guy he threatened is Asian.

3. Cuomo is white.

Three strikes and you're out ... so that's the end of Cuomo. So long to that ugly, wretched mutt.

Thank you!

Here's something else that's probably going on here:

I'll bet the Democrats have been conducting polls of voters all over the U.S., and they're finding that nobody outside a 50-mile radius of New York City would even hire Andrew Cuomo to clean up dog sh!t with his bare hands. That ugly thug is poison to the party brand, for sure.

[[[Cuomo sent those elderly people back to the nursing homes because the organizations that own and operate those facilities were pressuring him to send them back.]]]

Especially after a law was passed earlier to indemnify the nursing homes.

Not really. The hard left just took over the state house with veto proof majorities. They need a full on communist as a governor to keep everything running smoothly. Cuomo is a liability to that now. The nursing home debacle is a bridge too far for them to cover up.

Yep, he’s become a very problematic personality, in multiple ways, for the party.

Becoming “bad for the family business” has never been a good thing in New York. ;)

If Cuomo is guilty then Governor Wolf of PA and his former health secretary need to be in the next cell.

I have a sister-in-law from Queens. Yes. Cuomo is really a low rent ahole. And a punk ass coward with a big mouth.

He can run his mouth because he has an armed security detail 24/7.

I met him once when he worked for his daddy the governor. He was an arrogant, snot-nosed ahole and thought the rules didn’t apply to him
