SOLARWINDS HACK INFECTED CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE, INCLUDING POWER INDUSTRY
The companies involved used compromised software, but it’s not clear if hackers entered their networks. Finding out could be difficult.

THE HACKING CAMPAIGN that infected numerous government agencies and tech companies with malicious SolarWinds software has also infected more than a dozen critical infrastructure companies in the electric, oil, and manufacturing industries who were also running the software, according to a security firm conducting investigations of some of the breaches.
In addition to the critical infrastructure companies, the SolarWinds software also infected three firms that provide services for such companies, says Rob Lee, CEO of Dragos, Inc., which specializes in industrial control system security and discovered some of the infections.

What do you call it when the military leaders of a sovereign nation work together, behind the scenes, through 20(?) years of preparation, to install a civilian of their own choosing into the highest Executive leadership position in that country?
There’s a real-world term for that...look it up.
If Trump was “the chosen one” why did Adm. Rogers go to Trump Towers —without telling his superior— in order to inform the \President-elect\ that his transition team was under a surveillance warrant and his offices were bugged?
If Trump were the chosen one, why would Gen. Flynn —who was in the \Obama Administration\ at the time— be hung out to dry?
Trump is a man of his times and the decision to give back the U.S. to “We The People” was a decision born from patriotism, not a military coup.

I base my opinion on what I see Trump /doing/ in the office he won in spite of extensive fraud.
Did the military rig the 2016 election to ensure “their choice” won?
And, what of the actions while in office?
Was he aided by the military complex of Washington DC?
He appointed several military to the WH staff, only to be stabbed in his figurative back, over and over.
Yet...he continued.

So, again, NO, he was not “chosen before hand by a fed-up military.
And, really, if it is true —as gnarledmaw contends and GW defends—, that the overall consensus of this sub-forum is that ‘Trump was chosen by the US military for the Presidency’, then...we have all been wasting our time since January 7, 2018.
Personally, I don’t think that is the consensus around here.

Will County was pretty much suburban Chicago’s “ground-zero” for the tea party.
The village I lived in (Homer Glen) held several TP rallies with relatively “big name” speakers participating.
Several times, the area around “The Purple Onion” restaurant over-flowed onto 143rd, causing traffic slowdown.
Sheriff just let it happen because, “They will all go home in a couple of hours. No big deal.”
I turned my back on TP when as “door-knocker” came to my house and asked for donations...for a grassroots effort...with no real top-down organization.
