Last call is getting a little later.
Gov. Cuomo on Sunday issued an executive order pushing the statewide curfew for bars, restaurants and other establishments with liquor licenses from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.
“Hospitalizations and the positivity rate continue to decline, and with the holiday surge now in our rear-view mirror, we must keep taking steps to further re-open the economy safely and responsibly,” he said in a Sunday statement.
The later curfew also applies to gyms and fitness centers, casinos and pool halls, his office noted.

Cuomo’s new executive order comes as a growing number of Albany politicians is calling for Cuomo to lose his emergency powers.
Fourteen state Senate Democrats issued a statement Friday arguing that the sweeping pandemic powers granted to the governor last year are “no longer appropriate.”

That’s what he’s expecting.
The WHO also asked labs to reconsider the number of amplifications they are using in order to say that a test is positive. Apparently some, if not many, labs in the US have been using far too many amplifications, picking up fragments of some other virus that may have in a person’s body for a long time.
How benevolent of him.
I sure hope he doesn’t expect people to be fawning all over him in gratitude for the bone he just threw them.
