Got it. You can only do so much. :)
Just came across an old magazine I had been saving (2017) from ‘Mary Jane’s Farm.’
I couldn’t find it on-line, but she had a piece in there about ‘recycling snow,’ and she’s in Idaho where it snows A LOT in winter. Some of her ideas for melting and using CLEAN snow:
*Watering Houseplants
*Flushing toilets
*Mopping and Scrubbing
*Cleaning Muddy Boots & Rinsing recyclables
*Hand washing and laundry
Since *I* have an abundance of snow this season, I think I’m going to start filling up my washing machine for a semi-free wash load later in the week!
I have also used melted snow as a hair rinse and I would imagine it would be great for seedlings. As kids, I remember Grandma making us Snow Ice Cream, which was a fun treat.
Now, where’s my bucket? LOL!
