When the electricity goes off, we have no water cause the well pump doesn’t work. How would it help to have 2 wells with no pump?"

In my case, if I have no electricity, I remove the flagstone cover, lower a bucket into the cellar well and Voila! water! House was built in 1860.

Sometimes in the spring it overflows depending on the amount of snow. I use that water to mop the floor. It drains out through a pipe that leads outdoor. Pretty cool!
