Those regulatory roadblocks serve a safety purpose where vaccines are concerned. Trump unfortunately staffed his key agencies with Big Pharma execs and lobbyist types and then massively funded dangerous new technologies being positioned as vaccined and legal immunity being provided to Big Pharma on them at the same time.
Bad judgment? Bad advice? A direly twisted arm? I don’t know.

BUT, in this case there are many SAFE therapeutics that PREVENT and/or CURE this disease.
All you Lemmings go right ahead and get these vaccines. The gene pool will be improved. (since many of you will be DEAD or sterile).
Maybe gas_dr can address my Q. He seems to be another one of our leading Covid expert. His endorsement post on the monoclonal antibody injection for people who catch it with comorbitities was very good.
I have personally seen empirical evidence those those injections do exactly what he said they do. Save lives. I always learn from gas_dr’s posts.

Bottom line: Me and the wife have both had Covid. Her symptoms were flu like. Mine were like an extremely mild, almost asymptomatic cold. Her parents (Major comorbities) both got the monoclonal infusions and turned around on a dime from rapid descent to rapid recovery.
Is there any research as to what should be done in regards to vaccination in each case?

I've heard numerous times people say that we now have a vaccine. Yet the truth is that neither of the mRNA vaccines have been fully "approved". They are only being used under Emergency Use Authorization.
My understanding is that they have been playing around with mRNA vaccines for years, yet could never get one approved.
I spoke to a friend of mine over Christmas and his wife works in the process of collating and analyzing data from trials at a drug company. She was very emphatic that no way in hell was she getting the mRNA vaccine, and would wait for a more traditional alternative. I didn't ask why or dig, but figure she has a good reason for her opinion.
But regardless of which type of vaccine a person elects, the drug company is insulated from and side effects you may experience. I just it ironic that they have not been able to develop a solid flu or common cold vaccine in decades; but many are lining up to get poked with an experimental vaccine. To each their own.

Trump was TRICKED! He “thought” he was doing the right thing as advised by Fauci and Birx.
He made a YUGE mistake. I don’t blame him, he had no choice but to ACT! Couldn’t wait. Warp speed will prove to be a disaster for vaccines we never needed and DON’T need now. With therapeutics, a disease that can be PREVENTED and/or CURED there is ZERO need for a DANGEROUS vaccine.

I immediately question the credibility of any medical professional who makes such certain statements while being so wrong and sparsely informed on others.
For example, I recall that not only has FDA gone to neutral on Ivermectin, legitimate trials in India show it to be at least 90%effective as a pallative and something like 65%effective as a treatment. Since so many of our clinical researchers here are Indian I don’t particularly consider them buffons. Ivermectin is NOT without credibility. The defense is wrong, so to speak.
There is so much crap and confusing conflicting info on covid I don’t know what to believe add the many obvious conflicts of interest and I’ll stand pat taking my chances with relative isolation until I see more clear and safe results. That irreversaible genetic modification thing has no sale written all over it for me.
Some people are more confident than warrented. When they are doctors they are usually short on experience or smarts and I make it a point to steer clear of them.

Actually, we have no way to tell, because flu and common cold deaths are not counted the same way that COVID-19 deaths are counted.
At least 50% of C-19 deaths involve pneumonia and/or Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).
The CDC says that C-19 "causes" pneumonia and ARDS, therefore, C-19 is the Underlying Cause of Death (UCD) in 100% of those cases.
That is NOT what happens when flu or a severe common cold "cause" pneumonia or ARDS.
Flu or common colds are classified as the UCD in less than 10% of pneumonia or ARDS fatalities.
Trump was in a no win situation. Develop vaccines over several years - “Aha, he’s doing nothing and responsible for billions of deaths!”. Rush the development of vaccines - “Aha, he pushed through faulty dangerous vaccines”.
And you still make definitive statements that I’ll hazard you aren’t any more qualified to make than the average blogger.
“May” is admitting that one does not have all the info/technical/medical/scientific abilities to make definitive statements - it’s a lot more honest than asserting things yo only believe to be true w/o 100% understanding.
The J&J “may” is based on observation - you can’t refute it but you want to.
“Transfection” may not be a “medical” term, but it is a valid term for the process of how mRNA and other experiments are conducted, and those using the process have an understanding of what it means.
I don’t claim to know a lot, but you make assertions that you can feel are true whether they are or not - you have no more way to know that than we can take from what J&J’s “may” tells us.
That’s my intention too. My wife wants to get the mRNA vax and I won’t try to talk he rout of it, but I’m also not gonna get one myself just to make her feel better about it.
Yep - truth is that none of us knows enough to say anything definitive - but too many “kibitzers” try to make definitive statements about things we have to assume even the scientists don’t know for sure.

You seem to have a lot of free time for someone with a medical practice and children at home.

I am not sure that this is scientifically based. I know some people who have had Covid and were vaccinated. They had the first injection with little problem. The second one was pretty rocky for a 24 hour period (fever, muscle ache) then resolved
If you are asking my opinion knowing the J&J is about to have authorization if I had the disease and were inclined to be vaccinated I would get the single shot. If it were me.
It doesn’t bother me. If you want to through your lot in with someone discredited for falsifying research and a group who thinks disease comes from dreaming of sex with demons have at it

Statements like that are as meaningful and accurate as saying "If seat belts worked as some think, no seat belt wearer would ever be in critical condition in the hospitable after an accident". Flawed logic in thinking, and an obfuscating and misleading reply.
Getting advice on the covid vaccine from someone who is only repeating the medical establishment line is no different than getting your info on the election results from the AP or an establishment media talking head or reporter.
