A new poll has found some very bad news for the Republican party. A majority of GOP voters want Trump to establish a new party.

This is obviously borne out of frustration by Americans who feel that neither of the major parties represent them anymore. The Tea Party tried to reform the GOP from within but apparently it wasn’t enough.

If Republicans in Washington don’t want this to happen, they had better get their act together, and fast.

“A majority of GOP voters want Trump to establish a new party.”

Staying in the Republican party will only work if Trump gets rid of the old power structure Republicans and I don’t think that’s possible.

Look what they did to him. They will do the same thing again.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump could win using a write-in campaign and construct his party afterward. Remember when Perot led a 3-way race and dropped out after threats to his daughter?

"...who feel that..."

They spelled "have figured out that" wrong.

To quote C.S. Lewis from That Hideous Strength:

"Don’t you understand anything? Isn’t it absolutely essential to keep a fierce Left and a fierce Right, both on their toes and each terrified of the other? That’s how we get things done. Any opposition to the N.I.C.E. is represented as a Left racket in the Right papers and a Right racket in the Left papers. If it’s properly done, you get each side outbidding the other in support of us—to refute the enemy slanders. Of course we’re non-political. The real power always is."

If they “got their act together” it would be just that, an act.

~~~~~~~~~~
We were already holding organizing meetings for the new "Patriot Party" here in Texas, when Trump changed signals.
Of course, we recognized the "danger" of third parties (remember Perot...)
Now, my preferred strategy is to build an overwhelming "(Trump) Patriot Caucus" within the GOP -- and, basically kick the UniPartyRINOS & NeverTrumpers to the curb. (I'm confident we outnumber them -- especially after January 6th...)
Several of my colleagues are meeting with Alan West (TXGOP Chair) today -- to try to bring him on board.
