Although he has yet to decide whether to seek the seat of retiring Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, next year, swashbuckling conservative Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, appears in a strong position to win the all-important GOP primary in May.

Again, this is a no-brainer, Jordan earned this Senate seat.
‘People Will Never Forget How You Made Them Feel’(Real Clear Politics article)
We can’t win that battle. A guy like Jordan is our best counter to the touchy-feely types. More reality-based. While the left promotes the Clintons/Obama’s eventually the realists come around. We have to strike when the opportunity presents itself. If Sarah doesn’t take on Lisa nothing will change.
He is one the handful of excellent republicans.
We should come up with 50 of them. Those with egos need to be checked at the door. This Gaetz fella will go down the road of Arpaio and Roy Moore if we’re not vigilant.
He could walk into the office rather than fight for Sherrod Brown’s seat in 24. It will be low hanging fruit that the GOP is just too stupid to recognize.

This disappoints me, although I can understand it for two reasons. 2024 is a longer way off, and protecting a republican Senate seat in 2022 when the Senate is so closely tied is very very important.
But flipping the democrat seat would be even better, and who would be better to do it than Jordan?
A historic opportunity for Sarah to reclaim status as a true American political leader.
What do we do with Collins and Romney.
Collins is the best we can get in Maine. Romney will not be taken out by another Mormon. They’re lefties in drag.
Collins was just re-elected so that's tough. Romney is such a world class jerk that all he strives for is fawning attention from the media. So we give it to him. Imagine all the interviews he'll get when we pick-up 2-3 senate seats in 2022 and the new Senate majority leader tells him he is no longer welcome to caucus with the Republican Party.
Jordan was a four-time state champ in Ohio during his HS years going 150-1 and a two-time NCAA Div 1 wrestling champ while at Wisconsin.
He still looks like he could compete.
I would love for Jim Jordan to run and win the primary. My only concern is Amy Acton is considering running as a Democrat for the seat. I think she is very popular with the squishy middle. God help us if she wins this seat.
2-3 senate seats in 2022? What map are you looking at?
PA is gone. Elections stolen. Never win again there. Toomey’s seat is gone.
WI is gone. Elections stolen. Never win again there. Johnson’s gone.
The only reason they didn’t push NC over the edge is because they didn’t need it. So, Burr’s seat is likely gone.
Among the seats the D’s are defending. We’d normally have a chance in GA, but that’s been stolen. Ditto Arizona and Nevada.
So that’s -3 for us and no pickups. Can we make our R lineup more conservative with guys like Jordan? Yes. But increasing numbers? Unless TPTB are going to let the angry electorate blow off some steam by letting some RINOS win Kabuki theater-style, I’m not seeing it.
That’s on us. I’m still angry when 600 of us didn’t show up to carry RINO Kelly Ayotte over the finish line.
Warnock will lose, Hassan and Mastro should be targeted.
Who is our best bet in Nv? Deconcini’s love child?
Oh, so you’re one of the blathering class that blamed voters for the actions of crappy politicians who refused to bother earning votes? Like the people who were demanding that everyone run out and vote for Loeffler and Perdue while they were busy spitting in all of our faces instead of demanding they stop spitting on us?
LOL @ Kelly Ayotte. Yeah, good luck with that, pal...those days are long gone.
And it isn’t on us when they can manufacture hundreds of thousands of votes. Thinking we can just magically overcome that is a fool’s errand.

Ayotte(like Collins)was the best we could get. Use your head.
