Greeneyes, there is a radicalization spectrum going in opposite directions regarding the virus and the vaccine.

What I just read about the German company saddens me. They are acting like the gestapo, or the commies with gulags used against people that don't agree with them.

This will not solve anything. In fact it only worsens the problem. In your prior post about creating a model based on the cruise ship, they had an actual death rate of about 1.85%.

Real people dying. Those with real and severe health problems are more likely to succumb if they catch the covid virus. They need help. People should not deny that giving aid/help through any means, whether its personal animosities toward big pharma or a denial of the virus in particular.

Real people dying, People have a right to choose even if the choice is to say, "I think I'll wait for a while."

And so they are, it seems, if they get the vaccine, if that nursing home in NY is any indication. Six of one, half a dozen of the other...

A friend in her mid-80s, who is on 8 or 9 medications daily, can’t wait to get the vaccine. I pray she comes out all right if she does, but she hasn’t left her house much since March, so she thinks this is her ticket to a “normal” life. The vaccine is a human experiment, with many willing guinea pigs. We will altogether decline in this household.

I agree people should have a choice if they have correct information. But so much is being hidden about deaths from these vaccines, long term chronic issues from the vaccines, the fact that the companies have no liability, that testing was skipped. If people are aware of this and want to take their chances then they should be free to do so. Maybe a better approach would be for companies to publish findings from doctors and medical journals on both sides of the argument and then let people decide. Yes people should do their own research but many can’t or won’t.

If the vaccine only lessens symptoms rather than prevents Covid as even the media says, early treatment would lessen symptoms as well without the negative reaction.

The Journal of American Medicine is now saying HCQ is the treatment of choice for early symptoms of Covid. As a person with cancer I am more comforted by the idea of treating Covid early if I get it than being vaccinated hoping that if I get it symptoms won’t be as bad.

Kalam, as I have often said, I am for informed consent. The choice to Vax or not Vax should be up to the individual or guardian-not the government or employer.

Regarding the cruise ship, the point I think that was trying to be made was that the Fatality Rate was obviously not as bad as the erroneous models predicting way more deaths. And yet that real experience data was ignored in favor of the more drastic model to justify the lockdowns.

Yes real people die. My dad was in poor health, and during his final years-nearly died every flu season from the flu. He did finally succumb to respiratory illness that was antibiotic resistant.

Quarantining the sick is understandable, and the initial lockdown to try to slow things down while more was learned was also understandable.

However, the continued lockdown of healthy people for a disease that is not much more deadly than the flu is obviously being used to accomplish control for other purposes - as is most evident by the actions of the Governors such as Whitless and Gruesome.

And the concealment and lies about effective prophylactic measures and treatment measures other than just the Vax is criminal. JMHO.
