I let the pros handle it. My adviser is with Ameriprise (formerly American Express). I inherited a 140k IRA from my parents last year. I shifted it from Schwab (yuck, phooey) to Ameriprise. I took out 20k to side my 5 car garage then another 10k recently to handle a bill and help my son with his wedding.

It’s sitting at 162k right now. No way I could have done that myself.

You know, I have never even sent you any articles, and it might surprise you that I’m not an anti-vaxer, either. In fact, if the first Covid vaccines to be rolled out had been the “more traditional” sort, I wouldn’t be so concerned about my friends getting it, just the way I’m not about their getting flu shots, although I wouldn’t personally do that either just because I don’t take drugs. “Live and let live” is my general philosophy.
